The Arts Marketing Association (AMA) is excited to announce the 60 UK-based small to medium sized heritage organisations who have been selected to take part in The Lab, a strand of the Digital Heritage Lab funded by The National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Digital Skills for Heritage initiative.
The aim of The Lab is to provide digital mentoring support to help these 60 heritage organisations develop their individual digital capabilities and capacity, and is tailored to each organisation’s needs. Each organisation will be paired up with an expert Digital Skills Mentor who will help advise them on digital strategic planning; assess their training needs; and encourage, inspire and provoke new ideas & approaches.
The participating organisations come from across all four UK nations, are split between the ‘types of heritage’ covered by The National Lottery Heritage Fund, and include a blend of PAYE teams and volunteer-ran sites.
The response to The Lab has been phenomenal which has made the selection process particularly tough, especially during these challenging times with so many affected by the pandemic.
