Arts Council of Wales awards bursaries for AMA’s Small-Scale Development Programme

Arts Council of Wales (ACW) made ten bursaries available for small organisations to take part in the Small-Scale Development Programme (SSDP). SSDP is for small organisations aiming to address issues like relevance and value, business strategies, audiences, brand and experience and managing change.  

The Small-Scale Development Programme moved online-only for 2020,  structured to spread the learning in such as way as to fit in with your “day job”. The course was delivered by three expert trainers, Mel Larsen, Guy Turton and Helen Palmer.  

Small organisations based in Wales were eligible for the Arts Council of Wales bursaries. Successful applicants included:

  • Artis Community 
  • The Queen’s Hall 
  • Neuadd Ogwen

  • Llantarnam Grange Arts Centre
