Jennifer Tegg | Experienced Marketing Strategist

The Good Cause Project


Based in the North West, Jennifer Tegg is an experienced marketing strategist who works exclusively with charities and cultural organisations on brand strategy, audience development, audience insight, digital and campaign project management and creative facilitation. She provides senior level management support, leadership and mentoring for individuals and organisations that want to bring about positive change to reach their potential.

Since founding The Good Cause Project in 2021, Jennifer has supported organisations like Hay Festival, Buxton International Festival, Compton Verney, Harewood House, BBC Philharmonic Orchestra, Octagon Theatre Bolton and Showtown Blackpool with audience research, audience development, brand development and marketing campaigns. She is a trustee for the Manchester Craft and Design Centre and the Octagon Theatre and also works with a range of social and environmental charities, to make good things happen.

Jennifer’s career started in the arts in 2001, at The Lowry and Tate Liverpool, she then went on to deliver community based health behaviour change programmes for the NHS, working with communities in areas of deprivation, including in Knowsley, utilising co-creation methodology and behaviour change theory to improve health outcomes.

As Head of Marketing at Chester Zoo, Jennifer led the audience strategy, connecting with a wide range of audiences and raising significant revenue through ticketing, membership, fundraising and through programming and product development. She was also responsible for connecting audiences with nature and delivering community based behaviour change campaigns that delivered real benefit to people and the planet.
