AMA Opportunities for Wales

Arts Marketing Association: helping people who work in arts and culture reach more audiences

Cymraeg/Welsh

Over the past 25 years we’ve welcomed thousands of members, and trained thousands more. People come to us to develop their ability, and that of their organisation, to build relationships with audiences. Whether those audiences are visitors, participants, donors, customers or communities, we can help.

To be more connected with those audiences, the cultural sector needs the right skills and structures in place. AMA helps organisations and individuals achieve those goals.

We work across the UK, including with the Arts Council of Wales, which provides a number of bursaries across the year for Welsh organisations.

Current opportunities include:

Digital Heritage Lab

Digital Heritage Lab is funded through the support of the National Lottery Heritage Fund as part of the Digital Skills for Heritage initiative. It is a free programme for small and medium heritage organisations seeking to develop their digital capabilities and capacity.

Small Scale Development Programme (SSDP)

Improve the resilience of the organisation you lead. Re-evaluate the purpose, brand, audiences, business strategies and income streams available to you.

Our members work in marketing, communications and audience development across cultural organisations. Members work in art centres, theatres, museums, galleries, festivals and more.

Bursaries available for Welsh organisations thanks to Arts Council of Wales.
