Numiko
We’re a digital agency based in Leeds that’s spent the last 26 years creating great digital for good. Our team of ~50 people specialises in understanding users and organisations to build award-winning digital strategies and platforms that help some of the best companies in the world make society a better, more interesting place.
We work exclusively with organisations that deliver public good, including charities, museums, universities, regulatory bodies, and membership organisations. Our partners include British Museum, The Science Museum Group, Royal Armouries, The National Gallery, Bradford Theatres, The Eden Project and Guildhall School of Music and Drama.
We provide everything our partners need to bring a step change to their digital presence: user research and insight, digital brand development, user experience and inclusive design, Drupal website development, accessibility audits, and ongoing strategic support. Whether it’s reaching new audiences, improving member engagement, or demonstrating impact, we bring deep sector knowledge and a genuinely collaborative approach to every project. We’re also active contributors to the sector. We run our own annual Great Digital for Good conference, speak at events like MCG’s Museum & Tech conference, host roundtable discussions that bring together digital leaders from across the cultural sector, and run hack days to explore how technology can be creatively applied to solve tricky sectoral challenges.

What our clients say
I can’t believe what you’ve pulled off. It’s utterly amazing. I’m so glad you built this website for us—it’s seamless, logical, and a cinch to use, as well as being dramatically beautifulGaby Wood, Director, Booker Prize Foundation
Numiko have been an excellent partner for our website redesign. Their team immersed themselves in understanding our goals and brought such creative thinking to the project. The result is a website that perfectly captures the magic of a night out at our incredible venues. Numiko’s design expertise combined with their pragmatic approach delivered everything we hoped for and more.
Adam Renton, General Manager, Bradford Theatres.
Working with Numiko has been as much a partnership as a client-supplier relationship. They were proactive in suggesting solutions to tricky problems and in handling out internal stakeholders successfully. The resulting website, launched on time and to budget, definitely meets our key words of “Welcoming, elegant, dynamic and authoritative”, and has been extremely well received by visitors, stakeholders and the wider museum staff and our peers.
Michael Tame, Website Programme Manager, British Museum
Numiko have made us very happy. They have completely understood Eden as a destination and as a place in the heart. Their sumptuous interpretation of our journey feels biological and creaturely rather than mechanical, letting our culture speak. Beauty is life affirming and they have made Eden come alive
Sir Tim Smit KBE, Co-founder of the Eden project.
You’re going to find a partner who will work with you to really think differently about digital and deliver something extraordinary. The new web estate has been very well received by both the museum and its audiences and is already forming the foundations for the next phase of the Group’s digital ambitions.
John Stack, Digital Director, Science Museum Group
