Ruth Selwyn-Crome is a graduate from Camberwell Art School (UAL) with an early professional background in publishing production. Ruth joined the University of East Anglia (UEA) thirteen years ago and since that time has successfully completed a Masters in Creative Writing – Scriptwriting. Ruth works within a dynamic public events and engagement team; promoting events via social media, online listings and putting together UEA’s hard copy seasonal brochure – What’s On. Part of her role is researching new audiences and communication channels. For the past 18 months Ruth has content managed a project to celebrate UEA’s huge archive of 55 years of gigs. UEA Gig History recently won a CASE Silver Circle of Excellence award for best use of Social Media in Alumni Relations. Ruth has a freelance life marketing a festival newspaper – The Wanderen Star. She is also a Trustee for The Fisher Theatre in Bungay, Suffolk.
