Rebecca is Head of Communications and Marketing at the Brontë Society. Following an acting career spanning ten years, Rebecca gained skills and experience in the arts sector through a variety of roles before becoming director of Hebden Bridge Arts Festival where she was responsible for all areas of festival planning, administration and finance including fundraising and sponsorship. She then spent three years at a rural regeneration organisation working with arts and tourism businesses to develop and pilot a visitor giving scheme.
Rebecca has worked at the Brontë Parsonage Museum since 2015. She leads the team responsible for audience/member development, learning, outreach, events and the contemporary arts programme and, as a member of the senior management team, supports the Executive Director and trustees with business planning, fundraising and advocacy.
Rebecca is mother to two busy teenage daughters and likes to spend weekends exploring the local countryside or trying (usually unsuccessfully) to bring order to her garden.
