Rachael Dodd has worked within the arts and learning sector for many years, including the national Creative Partnerships initiative, from 2002-2011, which brought arts, culture and creative approaches into the classroom.
She has worked for Yorkshire Artspace as Programme Manager for over 17 years managing the organisations various programme activity which has included; exhibitions, residencies and education and outreach projects. In the last 4 years she has managed the Starter Studio programmes and the Starting Out training programme to support artists professional development.
She is interested in helping artists explore and develop their knowledge and skills in all aspects of contemporary visual arts/craft- but especially within participatory practice – enabling them to become more resilient, adaptable.
She is currently Chair of SNAP (Sheffield Network for Arts and cultural Practitioners) and is on the Steering Group for the S-CEP (Sheffield Cultural Education Partnership) seeking to develop a joined-up arts & cultural offer accessible to all of the city’s children and young people.
