Matt Walsh
Cheltenham Festivals

Matt Walsh has worked for Cheltenham Festivals since January 2018, becoming the first Digital Marketing Executive for the organisation.

He studied at the University of Worcester, graduating in 2014 with a 2:1 in Journalism. Matt began his career in marketing a year later, working for an affiliate in the gambling industry until 2017 as a Digital Marketing Assistant, planning and executing content creation for the website, mobile app and podcast.

Within his role at Cheltenham Festivals, Matt supports the Head of Marketing in the delivery and execution of digital marketing plans for all four festivals (Jazz, Science, Music and Literature). He contributes to email campaigns, social media content, online advertising (Google AdWords), website updates and blogs, festival event web uploads, partnership marketing and reporting & analysis.
