I’m a marketing strategist with a passion for the arts. With 9 years’ industry experience — both working agency and in-house, I recently fulfilled the role of Head of Marketing and Digital for the Hull UK City of Culture 2017 project. Implementing and overseeing the marketing and digital activity for the entire organisation, we succeeded in achieving our aim of attracting 1 million additional visitors to the city. Alongside this we worked closely with the partnerships and fundraising team to engage sponsorship partners, ensuring they maximised the relationship from a marketing perspective, ultimately benefiting stakeholders, internal teams and customers.
I’m now working with Hull Truck Theatre to develop and launch their audience insight strategy and support the team in delivering their ongoing marketing and communications objectives.
