Emily is the Marketing Manager for the Philharmonia Orchestra’ UK residencies and recordings on Signum Classics. She has worked at the organisation for around two years now in both coordinator and management positions.
Emily graduated from Cardiff University with a degree in Music and French in 2015 and has since then worked for St Martin in the Fields, Spitalfields Music and the Philharmonia Orchestra. In her current role, Emily’s principal aim is to maintain and build relationships with the orchestra’s UK audiences through the residency programme, and wider audiences through international touring and recordings. Emily is currently working on a large-scale audience development project called The Virtual Orchestra, and is in charge of creating engaging marketing strategies to introduce a new audience to classical music through digital platforms.
