David has worked at the Shakespeare Birthplace Trust for five years having worked in numerous marketing roles within the arts, culture and tourism sector over the last decade. 

As Head of Marketing he is responsible for developing and implementing marketing and audience development strategies to drive and engage new and existing audiences both in Stratford and around the world.  He oversees the delivery of marketing campaigns to attract visitors to the Shakespeare family homes, course participants for SBT’s formal education offer and flagship outreach projects, as well as managing the Trust’s customer and business insight and intelligence programme. 

In his free time he plays drums in a band and enjoys spending time with his two young children aged 1 and 3.
