Insta-novels — a digital story

Instagram / Digital Strategy / Partnerships

What is it about?

New York Public Library’s ‘Insta Novels’ project brought full, classic novels to the Instagram Stories platform as part of the Library’s wider digital engagement strategy. It grew the Library’s Instragram followers by nearly 100,000 in the first month.

Hear how the project was conceived, designed and executed. Richert will also share the lessons learned from this success.

What will I gain?

— Ideas for how to maintain a light, social media tone that stays true to your core mission

— Insights into NYPL’s digital engagement strategy

— Understanding of good practice for approaching digital projects and new partnerships

Who is it for?

This is a session for anyone wanting to hear how NYPL approached a new and exciting digital project, but particularly of interest for managers and those looking at building new projects into an overarching audience development strategy.
