I focus in particular on qualitative research to provide clients with insights and understanding into the ‘why’ behind different perspectives. I conduct focus groups and in-depth interviews with a range of audiences including C-suite executives, key opinion formers, senior academics and stakeholders in the arts and cultural sector. Organisations often find it valuable to utilise an external expert to help ensure respondents can speak freely and honestly in a confidential environment. I use the insights I gain to advise and support my clients to ensure their strategic development is research-based and robust.

I was previously Director at Penn Schoen Berland Strategic Research Consultancy and The Henley Centre (both part of WPP Group plc.) and am a former WPP Fellow.

I am a Director (Trustee) at the V&A Dundee and a former Trustee of the Tate Gallery Members Council and The Hebrides Ensemble. I have always been passionate about the visual arts and have previously done voluntary work with the Art Fund, The Photographer’s Gallery and Kids in Museums.

In 2021 I completed the Sotheby’s Institute of Art Intensive Course on Digital Marketing and Communications and in 2011 I achieved the Christie’s Foundation Certificate in Art Business, with Distinction. I am an individual member of the Market Research Society (MRS) and the Arts Marketing Association (AMA).

• £30/hr +VAT
• £240/day +VAT
