Lis Ivany | Arts Marketing & Audience Development
With a career spanning 20 years, I have a wide range of experience in marketing and communications for cultural organisations.
From developing long-term communications strategies to delivering impactful, cross-platform campaigns, I have a track record of success in growing, diversifying and retaining audiences.
My particular strengths are in event marketing, audience development and partnership working. I have previously held leadership roles in a number of organisations, contributing to business planning, bid writing and stakeholder engagement.
I love collaborative working, and it is one of the things that I am most enjoying about freelancing – which I have been doing since July 2023.
I am currently working with a consortium of arts organisations across Norfolk and Suffolk to deliver the Cultural Tourism project Head East, in a role jointly funded by Norfolk and Suffolk County Councils.
I am also working with the Norwich-based branding network Brandland, developing a communications strategy and business plan to grow and future-proof the organisation.
My previous roles include Marketing Manager for Norfolk Museums Service; Head of Communications at Norfolk & Norwich Festival; Head of Marketing & Sales at the Almeida Theatre; Marketing Manager at The Cogency – a specialist arts marketing agency where my clients included the Barbican, Somerset House, Cheek by Jowl and Clean Break.
I am interested in working on both long and short-term projects, strategic or tactical, and would love to talk to you about your organisation, venue or event.Lis Ivany
