Recognition of my cultural analysis, research and writing:
“This is my favourite review, and the one that made me feel most understood as a writer.”
Louisa Treger, critically acclaimed author and Deputy Chair, Oxford Literary Festival
“I loved your review of my exhibition and felt you really got it, as well as making connections that I hadn’t even thought of. Your review definitely raised my profile and brought many new people to the Cecilia Brunson Gallery. In the end, the whole teabag installation was sold to an art institution in America.”
Eliza Kentridge, artist
“It is a thoughtful review, and I appreciate the thorough perspective, from the interpretation to the historical background… It makes me feel wholesome.”
Alvaro Ibarra, musician
“I found your writing to be very sensitive and considered and I appreciate that you brought forth the historical context and deeper layers and meaning.”
Jane Jin Kaisen, visual artist and film maker
