Elma Glasgow is an award-winning consultant specialising in inclusive and anti-racism marketing and public engagement.
In 2022, she won the national Museums Association’s ‘Museums Change Lives Radical Changemaker’ award for community engagement on the acclaimed Power of Stories exhibition. Winning a major museums award in 2022, the local exhibition featured three original costumes from Marvel Studio’s Black Panther 1 blockbuster.
Elma also led on the subsequent exhibition tour which led to yet more inclusive progressive community engagement practices in rural locations.
What’s more, in 2021 Elma founded the community interest company Aspire Black Suffolk, which was born out of the above engagement work. Aspire is an equalities organisation delivering grant-funded cultural educational activities, and won a BBC Radio Suffolk Make a Different Award in 2022.
