Claire Petrie

I’m a Creative Marketing and Communications Leader with more than 20 years’ experience building audiences, brands and lasting cultural infrastructure across the arts, festivals, community engagement, sport and wellbeing sectors.

I help organisations turn ambitious ideas into meaningful public engagement through strategic marketing, brand development, audience growth, communications, PR, partnerships and creative campaign delivery. Combining big-picture thinking with hands-on implementation, I develop compelling narratives, build trusted brands, create impactful campaigns and connect organisations with the audiences and communities they want to reach.

I am currently Marketing Director for Made In Fenland and Paignton Picture House Trust, leading strategic communications, audience development and stakeholder engagement for ambitious place-based cultural projects. Throughout my career, I’ve delivered high-profile campaigns for major events and organisations, including MAYK’s Mayfest and Trigger’s acclaimed public art spectacle The Hatchling, helping connect hundreds of thousands of people with extraordinary cultural experiences.

Alongside my marketing leadership, I am a women’s fitness specialist, run mentor and community advocate, passionate about creating opportunities that enable more people to participate, connect and discover what they are capable of through culture, movement and shared experiences. I bring the same creativity, energy and people-centred approach to every project, whether I’m developing a brand strategy, launching a festival, growing an audience or helping a community find its voice.
