Regional Meeting — Midlands England

Reaching new communities

Reaching new communities is always at the forefront of arts marketers’ minds and the changing face of communications is constantly creating new challenges.

Join us for a discussion about how we can reach different people, both in-person and online.

This is a new-format session, where we’ll start off with a short intro by your AMA Connector for the Midlands, Rebecca Farkas, who is working on a community arts-and-health project called Our Place, with ACE NPO Rural Media.

The pilot project examines how creativity affects wellbeing for communities in the rural county of Herefordshire but aims to produce transferable learning for future projects around the country to use.

We’ll spend time discussing what we’ve heard and sharing our knowledge with each other, to try and get to the heart of the issue and come up with usable solutions, plus there’ll be time for a catch-up with your peers from across the Midlands.

How do I take part?

We will be using an online meeting platform Zoom for this event.

Before booking, please read our online training checklist to ensure you get the most out of this training.

Connector meetings are a great place to meet, connect and learn with fellow arts and culture professionals in similar roles. Each session will have lots of time for you to talk to each other building relationships and going beyond business cards.
