This webinar will explore how Google Analytics 4 (GA4) works, including key changes and new functionality you need to be aware of.

GA4 is here and will replace the current version. We don’t know how quickly, but the clock is ticking.

It offers a significant improvement in technology with a fundamentally different way of tracking, aimed at extracting better data and insights through AI predictions. It also addresses privacy concerns and third-party cookie blocking by using machine learning to fill in the gaps.

This session will:

  • Explain how GA4 works and outline the main differences in this new technology
  • Give you an overview of the dashboard, reports and new analysis section
  • Explore why you should install GA4 and run it alongside your current version
  • Show you how to install GA4 and adopt a phased migration plan

The webinar is split into 2 parts:

Part 1 — covers what GA4 is and why we should be using it (45 minutes).

Part 2 — a practical walk through of how to set up and use GA4.

Who will benefit the most from this session?

Those with a basic understanding of Google Analytics, and who use it to inform their work.
