This recording of an upcoming webinar will explore some foundational principles of being a good manager. 

It will cover different management and communication styles, as well as offering advice on how to handle difficult conversations. 

This session will:

  • Help you identify your own style and how to extend your range 
  • Offer tips on understanding what motivates different team members and how this might influence your management style 
  • Provide advice on applying management skills to other stakeholders 

Any prior knowledge/experience needed to benefit from this session?  

This webinar is pitched at an early – mid career level. It’s suitable for new managers, those who want to become managers and existing managers wanting to brush up. 

Created in response to member’s requests for support with ‘soft skills’. This is the second of three sessions comprising a mini-course in good communication skills. The remaining sessions are: 

Influencing. (This webinar has now taken place). 

Presentation skills.
