This workshop offers you tools and frameworks to develop strategic audience engagement, that you can utilise as you move towards reopening.

It’s a more in-depth look at the topics covered during the webinar Reconnecting with your Audiences.

This workshop will:

  • Offer clarity on how to map your audience and their needs
  • Show you how to make the most of national and sector research when planning your audience engagement
  • Offer inspiration on how to resuscitate relationships with existing audiences
  • Give you ideas on how to build relationships with new audiences
  • Provide case studies from a range of arts, cultural and heritage organisations

Delegates will take part in a practical task in a small group. You will also work through a series of exercises that help you:

  • Map your audiences and their needs
  • Reflect on the impact of Covid-19 on your audiences
  • Identify any gaps in your information
  • Identify opportunities for audience development

Who will benefit the most from this session?

Those who have some understanding of audience engagement, planning and strategy.

Christina is a marketing and audience development consultant and facilitator working with heritage and cultural organisations, with 18 years’ experience as a freelancer and in agency and in-house positions.

Her experience spans larger organisations such as the Science Museum Group, Empire Cinemas and Museum of London; sector support and development organisations such as the Association of Independent Museums, SHARE Museums East and the AMA; and independent and smaller organisations including Jane Austen’s House, Stratford Circus Arts Centre, the Museum of Cambridge, American Library, Babylon Arts, Norwich Historic Churches Trust and Ensemble Dance Co.
