Presenting the numbers: turning financial statements into useful insights
Financial reports don’t have to feel impenetrable. With a few simple visual techniques, you can turn financial statements and management information into clear, useful insight that colleagues and stakeholders can understand and act on.
In this practical webinar, Jo Diver, Finance Manager at the Arts Marketing Association, will share easy ways to present finance information in a more accessible format. You’ll explore how to highlight what matters most, guide the reader through the story behind the numbers, and use visual structure to make key messages easier to grasp.
You’ll leave with ideas you can apply immediately to board reports, budget updates, management accounts summaries, or internal performance reporting.
You will leave with an understanding of:
- What makes financial information feel confusing and how layout and visual hierarchy can reduce that friction.
- Simple visual approaches for showing performance without overwhelming the reader.
- Practical do’s and don’ts when presenting finance to non-finance colleagues and stakeholders.
Who it’s for:
Anyone who wants to present financial statements and budgets to colleagues, funders and stakeholders in a more visually accessible way.
