New Google Analytics 4 — what you need to know

July 7 @ 10:00 am - 11:35 am

This webinar will explore how Google Analytics 4 (GA4) works, including key changes and new functionality you need to be aware of.

GA4 is here and will replace the current version. We don’t know how quickly, but the clock is ticking.

It offers a significant improvement in technology with a fundamentally different way of tracking, aimed at extracting better data and insights through AI predictions. It also addresses privacy concerns and third-party cookie blocking by using machine learning to fill in the gaps.

This session will:

  • Give you an understanding of how Google Analytics 4 works
  • Look at the key changes and new functionality you need to know about
  • Cover what you should think about doing now. Is it too soon to change?
  • Show you how to install Google Analytics 4 to run alongside your current version

The webinar is split into 2 parts:

Part 1 — covers what GA4 is and why we should be using it (45 minutes).

Part 2 — a practical walk through of how to set up and use GA4.

Who will benefit the most from this session?

Those with a basic understanding of Google Analytics, and who use it to inform their work.
