Get Ready for Generative AI in 2024
29 February @ 10:00 am – 1:00 pm
This workshop is limited to 25 people
This workshop will introduce you to a wide range of generative artificial intelligence (AI) applications that will help with your content creation and more.
AI literacy is likely going to become one of the defining marketing and communications skills of the decade, if it hasn’t already. Having an awareness of how these technologies can be applied is vital for beginning to develop a critical framework, establishing organisational guidelines for their use, and considering their wider applications within the UK culture sector.
This session will explore AI applications for images, video, copy and data processing, providing you with tangible next steps for developing your skills and content.
This session will:
- Offer a quick recap of the most recent developments in AI
- Take a deep dive into image generating tools, and what makes different services distinct
- Provide a tour of other generative AI applications — such as music, presentations, video and some lesser-explored options
- Explore real-world applications for some of these tools
Please note: This will be an interactive workshop, with hands-on activities to take part in.
Any prior knowledge/experience needed to benefit from this session?
This workshop is best suited to those who have already done a little bit of experimentation with AI tools. Although some concepts will be re-introduced, this session is intended for people who would like to increase their existing understanding of AI tools and perhaps look at applications they haven’t otherwise considered.
