This webinar explores the latest developments in confidentiality, data protection and GDPR.

Our organisations store a huge amount of audience data. It’s vital that we understand how to comply with the regulations around the use of this data.


This session will:

  • Explore how GDPR works in relation to confidentiality, privacy, freedom of information and related regulations
  • Outline the meaning of ‘consent’ and whether it’s required in all circumstances
  • Examine data protection in relation to young people, live events and archives
  • Offer an outline of what developments are on the horizon

Anyone who uses or manages data at their organisation.

Keith Arrowsmith | Solicitor | Counterculture

Keith is a solicitor providing charity law and governance advice. He qualified as a solicitor in 1995, and has since been helping charities and other individuals and organisations in the cultural, creative, heritage, educational and media sectors. He provides guidance and assistance on intellectual property, data protection, confidentiality, freedom of information, business law, contracts, website regulations and charity law.

Keith is a Governance Associate for the Clore Leadership Programme. His research includes the effect on charity law of the Charity Governance Code.  He is a member of the Charity Law Association and was recommended in the independent publications, 2019 Legal 500 and 2020 Legal 500.
