What is it about?
Looking to inject life back into your copy? Stuck in a rut using the same old words and phrases? This workshop will help you develop a natural and compelling style to make your story convincing. It will look at the different elements that contribute to style, vocabulary and tone of voice. You’ll develop your creative approach and gain skills to help make your copywriting more effective. You’ll explore how to use your organisation’s brand to develop an individual voice. Discover how to strike a balance between conversational and corporate, without inhibiting creativity.

Jo is Director at Morris Hargreaves McIntyre. Working with cross-disciplinary teams she helps organisations develop audiences through a vision-led, audience-focused approach.

She balances clear strategic thinking with first hand practical experience of the issues facing arts managers in daily life. She provides pragmatic support and confidence to organisations seeking to exploit the benefits of an audience-centric, insight-led approach.

Jo brings 18 years’ applied experience in posts across a range of venues, producing, touring companies and arts festivals, most recently as Head of Marketing at Wales Millennium Centre. While at Welsh National Opera she won awards for Innovation and Creativity from the Institute of Direct Marketing.
