Bursaries help make our events more affordable for individuals and organisations who might not otherwise be able to get involved. 

Thanks to support from organisations across the arts and cultural sector there are 20 bursaries available that cover the full cost of a Digital Marketing Day 2023 delegate place.

You can apply for the bursaries via simple online forms, which can be found using the buttons below.


Museum Development North West Bursaries

Museum Development North West logo

Museum Development North West are offering CPD bursaries opportunities for individuals (including volunteers and freelancers), organisations and museum networks in the North West of England, that can be used for Digital Marketing Day 2023.

The fund is open to individuals, organisations and networks that represent non-NPO / non-National Accredited museums and those officially working towards Accreditation in the North West. Those working in non-consortia NPO’s are also eligible to apply.

Individuals can apply for up to £500. Organisations and museum networks can apply for up to £2,000.

To use this bursary for Digital Marketing Day, you must apply by Friday 13 October 2023.

Accessible by Design Bursaries

Accessible by Design will provide 4 bursaries that are open to anyone working in a small organisation or as a freelancer in the arts, culture and heritage sector, who needs financial support to attend Digital Marketing Day 2023. This includes both AMA members and non-members.

As well as being from a small organisation or a freelancer, all applicants must meet at least one of the following criteria: 

  • You identify as blind, visually impaired, D/deaf, disabled or neurodivergent  
  • You are an individual or member of an organisation working within disability arts 
  • You work in a diversity-focused role and/or for a diverse-led organisation  
  • You are an individual from a culturally and/or ethnically diverse background (including, but not limited to, the 9 protected characteristics identified by the Equality Act 2010: age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage and civil partnership, pregnancy and maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, and sexual orientation)

Arts Council of Wales Bursaries

Arts Council of Wales will provide 10 bursaries that are available to both AMA Members and non-members working for organisations across the cultural sector.    

All applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Individual applicants must be working as an arts freelancer based in Wales or in an arts organisation based in Wales

These bursaries have now closed.


Creu Cymru Bursaries

Creu Cymru will provide 2 bursaries that are available to both AMA Members and non-members working for small organisations across the cultural sector.

All applicants must meet the following criteria:   

  • You are a member of Creu Cymru
  •  You are an individual or organisation working in Wales 
  • You work for a small organisation

Spektrix Bursaries

Spektrix will provide 3 bursaries that cover the full cost of Digital Marketing Day 2023.

Spektrix bursaries are open to anyone working in the arts, culture and heritage sector who needs financial support to attend Digital Marketing Day. This includes both AMA members and non-members. 

Spektrix particularly encourage applications from people belonging to groups historically underrepresented in arts marketing including but not limited to disabled and/or neurodivergent individuals and members of underrepresented racial and ethnic groups.

Substrakt Bursaries

Substrakt will provide a bursary that covers the full cost of Digital Marketing Day 2023.

Applications are open to both AMA members and non-members, working for organisations across the cultural sector including in a freelance capacity who meet at least one of the following criteria:  

  • You identify as a woman or non-binary person
  • You are D/deaf, disabled or neurodivergent
  • You are from an ethnically diverse background
  • You work in/for an organisation committed to diversifying the arts sector
