A New Adventure

The AMA Conference social events offer you the chance to
re-charge and build your networks
All the socials take place on Thursday 14 July, with various starting times from 4:45pm.
Please note: some socials have limited capacity and will be subject to availability. Delegates will be contacted mid-June to book their social events, so book your Conference place today to avoid disappointment.
Brum Tingz Walking Tour
Unwind after the Conference with Hip Hop HEALS Kiz. Join her brand new: “Brum Tingz” walking tour of the city’s many gems.
On this tour, you’ll learn about Brum’s unique cultural and social history before breathing in Digbeth’s internationally renowned graffiti for a huge dose of colour therapy.
Birmingham is West Midlands’ regional capital and the second largest city in the U.K, though there is nothing second place about the city’s spectacular architectural heritage nor its magical street art. During your walking tour you will be encouraged to take lots of photographs to use as inspiration for your own writing or doodle art in a creative health workshop with Kiz after the tour.
Free-flow expression will be encouraged over adherence to rules in spelling and grammar. So come with a playful curiosity and let’s create!

Spektrix Ginterval
You’re invited to the Spektrix Ginterval at this year’s AMA Conference. Sip, chat and let the day’s highlights settle before heading out for the evening. The Ginterval is located in the foyer bar, only a few steps from the main conference, so you’ll be right there at the right time with the right people.
No need to RSVP, just bring your glorious self.
