AMA Networking

Plug into your potential spring 2024

The Connectors scheme is the AMA’s new and exciting networking offer. The new sessions include groups based on art form, job level as well as the current and highly successful regional meetings.

At a connector meeting, you can meet a whole range of people working in your area, in your sector and at your career stage. It’s a great opportunity to meet new contacts, share and solve problems, and generally provide support for each other while learning about new trends or skills to help you.

Regional groups and meetings are focused on the hot topic issues that are happening in your region.

From Print to funding, these meetings happen across the country from Exeter to Edinburgh.

Our Cultural meetings and groups are for people who work in and around a specific creative medium.

We have groups, for Theatres, museums, Galleries and Heritage are always launching more.

These groups focus on the realities and frustrations associated with your job.

Connect with other AMA members at a similar stage in their careers, whether you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned pro.

Although, each connector meeting is tailored for that section of the AMA membership, you can come to any meeting that interests you.

We will be launching three to six groups for different cultural mediums including Theatres and Musuems. There will be also two to four groups that bring people to togther at similar career stages.

This is in addition to our usual amount of regional meetings.

As we hear from you we will launch more groups, to help you build bridges to reach your professional goals.

Connectors get up to a 50% subsidy on a ticket to the annual AMA conference, exclusive discounts on all other paid AMA events, priority notice of AMA training events, the opportunity to have input into what AMA does, and the chance to raise your profile within your local area and the wider sector.
