Live Theatre tour and Social Enterprises talk 6pm — 7pm
Located on Newcastle upon Tyne’s Quayside for almost 50 years, Live Theatre is a carefully renovated and repurposed complex of Grade II listed buildings, combining their unique historical setting with flexible and welcoming theatre spaces and writers’ rooms. Its recently completed ten year programme of change has created a broad portfolio of income streams with Live Theatre now recognised as a national leader in developing new strategies for increasing unrestricted income and adding assets to its Balance Sheet, to support its creative programme.
These tours, led by Chief Executive Jim Beirne, offer an opportunity to visit Live Theatre and its enterprises to see and hear first hand about the innovative business model.

As above but please note different time.
The Spektrix Ginterval is back and bigger than ever. Immediately after the closing keynote on the first day of AMA conference, experience a good ol’ Spektrix knees-up. After a day of inspiring talks and sessions, what better way to get together with your peers and discuss what you’ve learnt over a hard-earned G&T or two? Our Spektrix friends will be on hand to say hello and to start your evening on the right note. Stop by the Spektrix Ginterval in the central café area at Sage Gateshead for a few drinks to keep you going until the other evening events kick off.
By The River Brew Co.
