Sam is Digital Officer at Pilot Theatre. His role at Pilot includes maintaining online platforms, updating and creating content for web-based audiences, monitoring analytics and implementing marketing strategies.
Recently, his work has included the creation and delivery of platform-specific content, including graphics, videos and photography. Sam is interested in the ways that digital media can widen participation and access to theatre, performance and culture.
He began working at Pilot in 2014, following a Masters in Modern and Contemporary Literature and Culture, and 3 years working in the heritage and museum sector, researching and delivering historical content for public audiences through apps, walking tours, websites and radio.
Sam is on a Joint Fellowship at Digital Marketing Academy 3.0 with his colleague Lucy Hammond.
