Born in St Albans, where she grew up surrounded by Roman archaeology, Rosie Clarke studied at the Universities of Manchester and Missouri. She has travelled widely pursuing her interests in history, the arts, and writing, and has lived and worked in the US, New Zealand and Australia. Her professional background is in libraries and publishing.
Rosie has worked at Culture24 since 2008, promoting the work of thousands of UK museums, galleries and heritage sites. She has coordinated the Museums at Night festival since 2010, helping hundreds of venues to plan and promote successful after-hours events to attract new audiences. She also edits the Museums at Night behind-the-scenes blog, where she provides regular marketing advice and showcases best practice from across the sector.
Rosie is also studying for the CIM Professional Diploma in Marketing, and writes arts reviews for local papers in her spare time.
