Sherman Theatre

Guy is the Sherman 5 Coordinator at Sherman Theatre, Cardiff. Sherman 5 funded by The Paul Hamlyn Foundation offers free membership and is designed to give people who have never attended a performance at Sherman Theatre the chance to do so. Sherman 5 is open to residents of Communities First areas across South Wales and to members and gatekeepers of our partner community groups, all of which support people who face barriers and/or disadvantage.

Prior to working at Sherman Theatre Guy was an Arts Development Officer for a local authority. Guy is a qualified secondary teacher and trained as a theatre designer. He has designed theatrical productions for many theatre companies based in Wales.

In his spare time Guy runs a social enterprise called Get the Chance. Their aim is to “create opportunities for a diverse range of people to experience and respond to sport, arts, culture and live events.”
