The AMA is committed to protecting your privacy, and takes its responsibilities regarding the security of customer information very seriously. In accordance with the Data Protection Acts of 1984 and 1998, the AMA will not sell, trade, or rent to others any of your personal information provided via this website unless we have had your informed consent to do so.

If you recommend the AMA to a friend or colleague via this website, the AMA will only store the information on your friend / colleague in order to track this marketing activity. We will not use this information to contact them directly and will not sell, trade, or rent their personal information to others.

Online purchases

No contract will exist between you and the AMA for the purchase of any event, publication, service or membership until you have received written confirmation from the AMA (by e-mail, post or fax).

The AMA does not hold any credit / debit card data. All credit / debit card sales made online are passed through WorldPay.com to enable maximum security of your details. All transactions are encrypted using 128 bit Secure Socket Layer (SSL) architecture (dependent on browser support), and are signed using Thawte digital certificates.

Usernames and passwords

In the event that you decide to register as a member of the AMA you undertake to provide current, complete and accurate information. You acknowledge that your username and password might enable others to assume your identity and therefore, as a registered member of the AMA, you undertake to ensure at all times that your username and password are kept secret and are not disclosed to any third party.

Networking areas

This website contains e-mail services, online discussion services, and a searchable member directory designed to enable members to communicate with each other. You agree to use these services only to post, send and receive messages and material that are proper and, when applicable, related to the service. You will not use the website:
