CONFERENCE
AUNTIE AND UNCLE SCHEME
What is it?
The Auntie and Uncle Scheme is taking place for the second time
at this year's conference. If you're going alone, haven't been
before, or simply feel a bit daunted by attending an event with
350 delegates when you don't know 349, then you can choose to
be allocated an auntie or an uncle. This will be someone who
has attended a conference before and who'll be able to introduce
you to a few people on the first day.
If you are interested in being an auntie or uncle, this is the
perfect opportunity to make a positive difference to a first-time
attender's experience. By volunteering you'll be a friendly
point of contact for your niece or nephew, and gain at least
one new contact for yourself, your colleagues and acquaintances.
Simply
tick the box on the booking
form to register your interest to be / have a conference
'auntie' / 'uncle'.
INDUCTION SESSION
FOR FIRST TIME ATTENDERS
First time
attenders have the option of meeting at 10am on the first day.
This will be an opportunity for you to meet other conference
novices and get the low-down on how to get the most from your
first time.
