Networking Opportunities

CONFERENCE BASH - Ceilidh at The Arches

The conference programme - with small group seminars - has networking built-in. To maximise your chances to meet new people and get the most out of your conference experience attend the Conference Bash hosted by Tickets.com.

Eat, drink and be merry at The Arches, a recently refurbished Glasgow arts venue, the event will include a ceilidh band and disco (but not at the same time!)

CONFERENCE AUNTIE AND UNCLE SCHEME

What is it?
The Auntie and Uncle Scheme is taking place for the second time at this year's conference. If you're going alone, haven't been before, or simply feel a bit daunted by attending an event with 350 delegates when you don't know 349, then you can choose to be allocated an auntie or an uncle. This will be someone who has attended a conference before and who'll be able to introduce you to a few people on the first day.

If you are interested in being an auntie or uncle, this is the perfect opportunity to make a positive difference to a first-time attender's experience. By volunteering you'll be a friendly point of contact for your niece or nephew, and gain at least one new contact for yourself, your colleagues and acquaintances.

Simply tick the box on the booking form to register your interest to be / have a conference 'auntie' / 'uncle'.

INDUCTION
SESSION FOR FIRST TIME ATTENDERS

First time attenders have the option of meeting at 10am on the first day. This will be an opportunity for you to meet other conference novices and get the low-down on how to get the most from your first time.

Complete our FEEDBACK FORM to request further information e.g.
(a copy of the conference leaflet, further details about the AMA, details for new attenders, emails direct to you as speakers are announced etc.)

Sign up for updates straight to your mobile phone
(be the first to choose your seminars - before they fill up!)
