We are delighted to have supported the following people and organisations through AMA Bespoke …
AMA Bespoke developed two courses for the British Council’s Cultural Skills Academy: Developing Audiences and Designing Digital Strategies. Our training team delivered these courses in Athens and Warsaw during spring 2016.
In 2014/2015 the AMA worked with four South African Fellows to develop their skills in audience development and we delivered two one-day workshops in audience development for arts professionals in Johannesburg and Cape Town as part of the British Council Connect ZA and BASA (Business and Arts South Africa) Connecting Creative Markets.
“We have found the AMA professional and insightful in their advice and work with the South African arts community.” Diana Williams, Manager Mentorship and Education, Business and Arts South Africa (NPC)
In June 2015 we supported the British Council Venezuela conference Arts, Sustainability and Marketing by organising a marketing session with Heather Maitland which was delivered online to participants in Venezuela.
The AMA suggested a remarkable speaker for the Conference as well as preparing a reading list for further use by all attendees to the conference. The work with AMA was great: they are really supportive and flexible when contingencies arise or decisions take longer than planned to be taken. I can only recommend the AMA for any project related to arts and marketing, their input was remarkable. Gabriela Aguilar, Arts Manager, British Council Venezuela
AMA Bespoke organised an afternoon of marketing training with Heather Maitland for dance artists and producers as part of British Dance Edition 2016. The workshop was part of the Business of Dance programme developed in collaboration with One Dance UK with the aim of equipping artists taking part in BDE to develop marketing specifically targeting European dance promoters.
“The AMA delivered an afternoon workshop for us on marketing to European promoters in preparation for British Dance Edition 2016. Heather Maitland was a great choice of speaker. She was knowledgable and passionate about contemporary dance and put together a session which was practical and insightful. I’d like to thank the AMA for all their support on the event. I’m really pleased that we have provided this essential knowledge sharing programme and I’m so pleased with the inspirational training the dance artists and producers received.” Carole Blade, Creative Producer, Coreo Cymru
Dorset Arts Together
AMA Bespoke organised a social media workshops with Chloe Rickard for members of Dorset Arts Together.
Our Dorset Arts Together hub bespoke digital social media training session with Chloe Rickard was both inspiring and provided great practical tools and strategies for our arts and culture organisations. Chloe knows and is passionate about the sector; she provided instruction, information, context and facilitated great discussion on ways to develop audiences that we are seeking to do through our Dorset collaboration. Rosie Russell, The Arts Development Company
AMA Bespoke responded brilliantly to our brief when we contacted them about delivering tailored training in digital fundraising for the Dorset Fundraisers’ Group. I had an initial conversation with Laraine, the AMA’s Associate Producer, who then created a training brief, and proposed a trainer, which not only responded well to our needs but also worked within our budget. The trainer, Howard Lake, delivered a brilliant session for us, he had clearly been well briefed, and the whole group took away a range of new insights and actions which will support our fundraising work. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend AMA Bespoke. Karen Malim, Development Manager, DorchesterARTS
AMA Bespoke delivered a Brand Brilliance seminar for dance professionals attending Move IT 2016 at London’s Excel at the UK’s biggest dance expo.
AMA Bespoke delivered a seminar on Brand Brilliance for our MOVE IT PRO series at Move It 2016. We heard great feedback on the session and certainly the sections I listened in to were brilliant. The AMA’s Associate Producer created a seminar which shared industry insights and best practice on branding and marketing tailored to the people in the room. Kate Scanlan, Creative Director, Move It
AMA Bespoke organised bespoke copy writing training with Jo Taylor for the communications team at the National Media Museum.
Having been on AMA workshops before and knowing Jo’s work, I expected this to be high quality and it was. Also, as this was Bespoke to our team who are all fairly experienced, I expected it to be pitched at the right level for us and it was. Vicki Chelms, Senior Marketing Executive, National Media Museum
Jo is a complete pleasure to work with. Respectful, entertaining, straightforward, knowledgeable but not patronising. The day was structured really well, leaving plenty of time to absorb and test what we were learning through discussion. It was a really humbling day in some ways but really inspiring too. The least trainingy training I’ve ever had. Will White, Head of Marketing and Communications, National Media Museum
AMA Bespoke organised bespoke copy writing training with Jo Taylor for the marketing team at the National Theatre.
The session was hugely useful and we were able to put the things we learned straight into practice. It really got the whole team to look at our work from a new angle and approach copy differently going forward. Ali Forbes, Head of Marketing Campaigns, National Theatre
