Online training only

  1. Delegates must have adequate technical resources available to participate in the online training, to include the following:
    • a working telephone line and handset*. NB A hands-free headset with integrated microphone, plugged into your phone, will provide optimum comfort for your online training session (if you have one available) but a regular telephone handset can also be used
    • a working computer with an internet connection speed of 2 Mbps or more. You can test your bandwidth speed at www.speedtest.net
    • a compatible computer operating system and web browser. You can check if your operating system meets the minimum requirements by downloading a list of compatible systems: www.a-m-a.co.uk/uploads/Downloads/Systems.pdf or simply click on www.webex.com/lp/jointest to join a test meeting. If you can join the meeting, your system is compatible!
    • A webcam (optional) *Participants based outside the UK will not have access to the toll based telephone numbers but can still participate fully in the training through VoIP (Voice over internet protocol). VoIP uses computers with audio capability to communicate over the Internet rather than the telephone system. If you are based outside the UK or would prefer to use VoIP you must ensure that your computer meets the following system requirements:
    • a sound card
    • speakers or headphones. NB for better audio quality and greater convenience use a computer headset with a high-quality microphone
    • microphone
  2. In the unlikely case the online training session being cancelled by the AMA, paying delegates will be offered a 100% refund or credit note (as applicable).
  3. The AMA takes no responsibility for technical failure caused by faulty or inadequate equipment provided by the delegate or delegate user error.
