A ‘lapsed attender’ is someone who has been to an arts facility on at least one occasion in the past, but now appears to have stopped attending.

Evidence that they have stopped attending could be that they have actually asked to be removed from an organisation’s records.

But they could be viewed as having become inactive because they have not made another attendance after the average (mean) period for users to remain active PLUS 12 months has passed.
